What's a Craft Supply Swap?

A chance to pass on unwanted art and craft supplies. AND, a chance to "shop" for new/gently used art and craft supplies.  Free to drop off, free to take!

Several options for Drop Off

A) Drop off your new or gently used goodies any time during the Sustainability Expo April 13 from 10-3p

  or

B) drop off items at a Sew Club meeting on March 21 or April 4 from 530-730pm at the Tacoma Art Museum. Sew Club takes place on "free Thursday evenings" at the art museum so you do not need to pay the admission fee to drop off items.

Contact us about other drop off locations and times if you can't make it to any of the above drop off dates.

Want to donate more than 2 bags or an item bigger than a side table? Please message or email remakerytacoma@gmail.com ahead of time with a picture.

What can you bring?

New or gently used craft supplies are awesome!

Some crafting categories that will be excellent for the swap are: painting, drawing, paper, fabric, sewing machines, yarn, embroidery, beading, scrapbooking, scissors, tools, tape, books, or kits. If you can buy it at an Art or Craft store, it is good to donate. There are some more specific lists and ideas below.

What NOT to Bring

If it stinks, don’t bring it. Please don't bring anything moldy, dirty, super heavy, or in need of repair. Leave the hazardous materials behind, including oil-based solvents, house paint, aerosols, or anything that needs batteries.
